Levels need to be monitored and/or measured in almost all industries. When it comes to bulk materials, bulk solids or bulk cargoes, these raw materials are stored in closed systems (tanks or silos).
In order to control the filling processes and avoid possible overloading of closed systems, we present below a set of solutions from our long-standing German partner MOLLET Füllstandtechnik.
In this context, we present MOLOSsafe below. This protects against overflows, damage to silo tanks and filter systems caused by overpressure or vacuum, dirt in the production plant and incorrect filling. The system indirectly serves occupational safety, the preservation of the asset value of the plant and the protection of the environment.
MOLOSsafe works on the principle of a signal from the fullness detector to the controller, whereby the silo filler automatically closes the filling hose. Depending on process and/or user requirements, the system can be supplemented with accessories such as a signal light, pressure valve, pressure indicator, demand indicator or void detector, which can be controlled by the control information system.
Level indicators for aggregates and mining industry

The LF20 continuous level gauge is suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes, up to 42 m and process temperatures up to 150 °C.
MOLOSroto DF11 , DF21 and DF22
Rotary level switches are used for most bulk materials (solids) in level control. Also available for Ex areas. Ideal for silos, thanks to the extended process connection up to a maximum length of 200 mm.
MOLOSroto DF23 , DF24 , DF25 and DF26
Rotary level switchesare suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. They have the option of a reinforced wind tunnel or sensor. Also available for Ex areas.
DF24 has extended protection up to 500 mm.
The DF25 has the option of a 45° reinforced sensor and extended protection.
The DF26 switch has the possibility to extend the axis of oscillation of the wind turbine or sensor up to 1500 mm.
MOLOSroto DF27 , DF28 and DF30
Rotary level switchesare suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. Also available for Ex areas.
The DF27 has the possibility to extend the rope axis of the wind turbine or sensor up to 10,000 mm.
The DF28 has the option of extending the protective hose up to 6,000 mm.
The DF30 has a shorter process connection with a minimum length of 100 mm.
MOLOSmembranes MFA, MFB, MFD, MFE, MFE-A
Membrane level switches are used for level measurement in containers or silos in a wide range of industries.
MFA sensitivity is adjustable from 20 g … 60 g.
MFB sensitivity is adjustable from 100 g to 500 g depending on the membrane
MFD sensitivity is adjustable from 60 g … 200 g.
The MFE sensitivity is adjustable from 60 g to 2000 g, depending on the membrane.
The MFE-A sensitivity is adjustable from 60 g to 2000 g, depending on the membrane.
Oscillating limit switch with short-throw sensor is suitable for measuring the maximum level in silos of different sizes. The measurement material can be fine sand, granules and stones. Also available for Ex areas.
MWF21 continuous level gauge, which provides continuous measurement, according to the continuous radar principle, up to a height of 20 m.
