MFA MOLOSmembrane Mollet level membrane switch

Description

The MFA level diaphragm switch is used for level measurement in containers or silos in a wide range of industries. It can be used as a full, empty or demand sensing indicator in small and medium sized containers. The IP protection rating of the housing is IP44. The simple design of this sensor provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for automatic level indication.

The MOLOSmembrane series level switches are based on a very simple and ingenious level measurement principle. They are used to measure the bulk level of solids (bulk material) and are the ideal solution for many applications, as no sensor part extends into the bin or silo.

With a variety of options, the sensors can be optimally configured even for very harsh operating conditions. The low-cost switches offer automatic level measurement with high energy efficiency. No auxiliary or special power cables are needed to operate the MF-sensors. In addition, the switches are easy to install and operate.

Application of MFA

The MFA is a level membrane switch for powder and granular bulk materials (bulk solids). In simple applications, it detects any required level reliably and accurately. It is therefore used for different purposes:

• Spiral conveyor jam detector for plastic granulate
• Stagnation detector in the discharge hopper of the spiral conveyor for granules
