Description
The DF23 rotary level switch is suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. It has the option of a reinforced wind tunnel or sensor. A level switch consists of a housing, a process connector and a sensor. The housing can be made of aluminium or stainless steel and they are also supplied for Ex areas (dust and gas). The enclosure is rated IP66. The Process Connector is available in threaded, flanged or quick coupling versions. It is made of aluminium as standard, but stainless steel is also available as an option. The sensor rotates continuously. When the material level reaches the sensor, the sensor stops and sends a signal to the controller.

Application of DF23
The DF23 is a level rotary switch with reinforced blade axis for bulk loads (loose material) such as powder, granulate, fine and coarse grains. In a variety of applications, the DF23 reliably and accurately displays maximum or minimum filling levels. It is therefore used in a wide range of industries:
- Demand level indicator for wood pellet storage for central heating
- Hygiene Demand Level Indicator with stainless steel housing and triple clamp process connection
- Emptiness detector in silica sand silos in an injection material plant
- an empty ATEX-approved indicator in a concrete silo for carbon dust from a coal-fired power plant
- level control in the recycling company’s plastic particles storage silo
- level control in containers for pharmaceutical intermediates
