E1-E4 temperature-protected clutch for DF Mollet rotary level switches

Description

The E1-E4 temperature-protected coupling for DF rotary level switches is designed for DF rotary level switches.

Depending on the temperature, there are different clutch protection designs. For the temperature range -150 °C … +500 °C, we use the E1, E2, E3 and E4 (E1-E4) versions. For temperature ranges of +1000 °C, type E4 should be used.

The level switch with temperature-protected clutch is suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. The material to be measured can be fine sand, granulate and stones up to a diameter of 100 mm. A level switch consists of a housing, a process connector and a sensor. The housing can be made of aluminium or stainless steel and are also available for Ex ranges.

The enclosure is rated IP66. The sensor rotates continuously. When the material level reaches the sensor, the sensor stops and sends a signal to the controller.
