Description
The DF11 MOLOSroto rotary level switch is used for most bulk materials (solid particles) when monitoring the full, empty or optional level in silos, tanks and containers.
The sensors can be customised to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications with a limited number of options and accessories. A level switch consists of a housing, a process connector and a vane (measuring wing). The housing can be made of aluminium or stainless steel and can also be supplied for Ex (dust) areas. The enclosure is rated IP66.

Application of DF11
The affordable and universally applicable DF11 rotary level switch is suitable for bulk (loose material) such as powder, granulate, fine and coarse grained material. In simple applications, the DF11 reliably and accurately displays minimum or maximum filling levels. It is therefore used in various industries, such as:
- Empty indicator in the pellet central heating storage tank,
- level control in an extrusion hopper filled with plastic granulate,
- flow control in the coffee bean drain pipes,
- Emptiness indicator for light and dry additive containers in feed production.

Safety DF11
- Installation, initial operation and maintenance must only be carried out by a qualified professional with appropriate electrical knowledge.
- The connection of individual components such as swivel blades, bend protection, axle extension is only allowed with fixing pins.
- For the electrical connection, observe local and statutory rules and regulations and/or VDE 0100.
- Before making an electrical connection, compare the supply voltage with the information on the type plate.
- A fuse (maximum 4 A) must be connected in series to the supply voltage.
- Protect the signal contacts against voltage when inductive loads are connected.
- The appliance must only be operated when closed.
- Switch off the power supply before opening the device (dangerous touch voltage).
