Description
The DF25 rotary level switch is suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. It has the option of a reinforced windsock or 45° sensor and extended protection. The DF25 level switch consists of a housing, a process connector and a sensor. The housing can be made of aluminium or stainless steel and they are also supplied for Ex areas (dust and gas). The enclosure is rated IP66. The Process Connector is available as a flange or quick coupler. The sensor rotates continuously. When the material level reaches the sensor, the sensor stops and sends a signal to the controller.

Application of DF25
The DF25 is a rotary level switch for level measurement with angular fan for bulk (loose material) such as powder, granulate, fine and coarse grains. In a variety of applications, the DF25 reliably and accurately displays maximum or minimum filling levels. It is therefore used in a wide range of industries:
- Fullness detector in a quarry sand bunker
- Calcium carbonate silo void indicator for water treatment plants
- ATEX-approved fullness detector for bunker with bracing for the production of printing plates
- ATEX-approved emptiness indicator in silos for storage of raw materials and finished products of mixed feeds
