MWF21 MOLOSwave Mollet continuous level meter

Description

The MWF21 is a continuous level meter operating on the principle of Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR).

They are specially designed for use in bulk cargo (bulk material). During the measurement process, high-frequency, low-energy microwave pulses are coupled to the sensor and guided through the sensor to the bulk cargo. The surface of the product partly reflects these impulses. The electronics detects the bouncing pulses and calculates the actual charge level from the time difference between the transmitted and received signals. These charge levels are available as a 4-20 mA signal for further signal processing. This signal can be visualised by simple and easy-to-read display units mounted in the switch box.

Using MWF21

The MWF21 is a continuous level meter for continuous level measurement of all types of solid particles with a DC value (dielectric constant) above 1.8. This sensor reliably and accurately measures the actual filling level in silos and containers at any time, with a measuring range of up to 20 m. This is why this level measurement device is used in various industries:
