The EL/Z6V2/SB-1/ Ex-1G JOLA bar electrode in Ex version is designed to detect leakage of electrically conductive liquid in a pipe channel, e.g. due to a burst pipe.
The Ex conductive bar electrodes are designed to signal the presence of a conductive liquid caused by, for example, burst pipes, via a connected Ex conductive relay.
Ex conductive bar electrodes must only be used in normally dry environments. They can be installed from the top or the side. In both cases, it is important to ensure that the tips of the poles are just above the ground and can be controlled.
If two non-insulated surfaces of the sensor rod of the conductive Ex rod electrode come into contact with an electrically conductive liquid (e.g. water, acid, etc.), an electrical contact is established and an alarm signal is triggered via the connected conductive relay of the Ex electrode.
Before use, we recommend viewing the attached pdf documents under the Documentation tab.
