PEK-Z10 JOLA floor electrode

Description

The PEK-Z10 JOLA floor electrode is designed to detect leakage of electrically conductive liquid in a pipe channel, e.g. due to a burst pipe. With built-in Z10 cable break monitoring unit.

Conductive plate electrodes are designed to signal the presence of an electrically conductive fluid, caused for example by burst pipes, via a relay connected to the conductive electrode.

Conductive plate electrodes should only be used in normally dry environments. They should be installed on the ground with the sensor side facing downwards.

The conductive plate electrodes are equipped with two sensitive elements in the form of two electrode plates: 1 control electrode and 1 earth electrode. If two electrode plates come into contact with an electrically conductive liquid (e.g. water, acid, etc.), electrical contact is established and an alarm signal is triggered.

Features of the PEK-Z10

• design: 1 control electrode and 1 earth electrode
• Sensitive element: 2 electrode plates of 316 Ti stainless steel, each 24 mm in diameter
• Housing: PP and cast resin
• electrical connection: connection cable* 2×0.75, 2 m, on request: longer, without halogen
• temperature range: -20 °C to +60 °C (higher temperatures on request)
• cable break monitoring: with built-in Z10 cable break monitoring unit
• Classification:
  • One or more PE, PEK-2/2 and/or PEK-4 can be connected in parallel between PE-Z10 or PEK-Z10 and one of these relays.
  • Leckstar 171/1 or Leckstar 171/2: one PE-Z10 or one PEK-Z10
  • Leckstar 155: max. five PE-Z10 or PEK-Z10
  • Leckstar 101 or Leckstar 101/S: one PE-Z10 or one PEK-Z10
• length of connecting cable: 1,000 m between the electrode relay and the rear electrode
