Description

The Leckstar 171/1 relay for JOLA leak detectors is designed for limit level signalling. They shall be installed in a control cabinet or other suitable protective enclosure. The switches are suitable for use in clean environments.

  • with cable disconnection control function
  • for connection of 1 conductive electrode with cable break monitoring unit Z10
  • with built-in battery for emergency power supply in case of mains failure
  • with two potential-free switching contacts at the output
  • with integrated buzzer
  • with 1 power supply circuit

Relay electrodes in upgrade housing, with 3 built-in LEDs to indicate operating conditions.

  • Optical indication

The operating status (mains operation, battery operation, faulty fuse) is indicated by a two-colour LED. 2 LEDs are integrated in the electrode relay to indicate a leak or cable break

  • power circuit

An acoustic signal is built into the relay electrode for the purpose of sounding an alarm at predefined intervals in the event of an alarm. An additional external siren (DC 12 V, max. 1 A) can be retrofitted. In the event of an alarm, it is supplied via the relay’s internal contact with a 12 V DC supply voltage, which is generated in the electrode relay as a permanent signal. Two potential-free switch contacts are available at the output for connecting additional signal devices. The switching function of these contacts is different in the two units.

  • Alarm acknowledgement

A confirmation button is built in to acknowledge a cable disconnect alarm or a leakage alarm. If a recurring alarm is triggered, all power circuits are reset to alarm by an additional optical signal, regardless of whether the alarm has already been acknowledged. If confirmation must also be possible via an external confirmation button, the external confirmation button shall be connected in parallel to the built-in confirmation button on terminals 11 and 12.

  • third power circuit: internal horn in interval mode, optional external horn can always be acknowledged without interval mode for group alarm with self-holding
  • Optional horn voltage: 12 V DC

  • Battery life: approx. 4-5 years
