DF24 Mollet MOLOSroto rotary level switch

Description

The DF24 rotary level switch is suitable for level measurement in silos of different sizes. It has the option of a reinforced wind tunnel or sensor and extended protection up to 500mm. The DF24 level switch consists of a housing, a process connector and a sensor. The housing can be made of aluminium or stainless steel and are also supplied for Ex (dust) areas. The enclosure is rated IP66. The Process Connector is available as a flange or quick coupler. The sensor rotates continuously. When the material level reaches the sensor, the sensor stops and sends a signal to the controller.

Using DF24

The DF24 is a rotary level switch with a long support tube and reinforced blade axis for bulk loads such as powder, granulate, fine and coarse grains. In different applications, the DF24 reliably and accurately displays maximum or minimum filling levels. It is therefore used in a wide range of industries:

• Void detector in silos with sticky marble dust
• Detection of empty space in the coke storage tanks of a power plant
• Fullness indicator in concrete grain storage silos
• a void indicator in a pre-filter filled with pulp for paper production
