WDX-Z10 JOLA floor electrode

Description

The WDX-Z10 JOLA floor electrode is designed to detect leaks of electrically conductive fluid in a pipe channel, e.g. due to a burst pipe. With built-in Z10 cable break monitoring unit.

Conductive plate electrodes are designed to signal the presence of an electrically conductive fluid caused by, for example, burst pipes, via a relay connected to the conductive electrode.

Conductive plate electrodes should only be used in normally dry environments. They should be installed on the ground with the sensor side facing downwards.

The conductive plate electrodes are equipped with two sensitive elements in the form of two electrode plates: 1 control electrode and 1 earth electrode. If two electrode plates come into contact with an electrically conductive liquid (e.g. water, acid, etc.), electrical contact is established and an alarm signal is triggered.

WDX-Z10 features

• design: 1 control electrode and 1 earth electrode
• Sensitive element: 2 electrode plates of 316 Ti stainless steel, each 25 mm in diameter
• Housing: PP and cast resin
• electrical connection: connecting cable 2×0.75, 2 m long, on request: longer, without halogen
• temperature range: -20 °C to +60 °C (higher temperatures on request)
• cable break monitoring: with built-in Z10 cable break monitoring unit
• Classification:
  • Leckstar 101 or Leckstar 101/S: one WDX-Z10
  • One or more WDX-4s can be connected in parallel between the WDX-Z10 and one of these relays.
  • Leckstar 171/1 or Leckstar 171/2: one WDX-Z10
  • Leckstar 155: max. pet WDX-Z10
• length of connecting cable: 1,000 m between the electrode relay and the rear electrode
• installation accessory: stand (possible)
