TTU-GLA-050/MP industry temperature sensors; RTD with analogue or digital output

Description

TTU-GLA-050/MP industry temperature sensors with built-in trans ducer are very common designs for temperature measurement in industrial processes (liquids, gases, vacuum)

It is mainly used where protective housings are already installed or for fast response measurements directly in media or where you need, for example, Pt100 converted to 4 … 20 mA, temperature linear.

 

Transducers can also perform other tasks, such as:

TTU-GLA-050/MP in ON SITE and EX versions

For calibration directly in the production process, we produce the TTU-GLA-050/MP in ON SITE version.

For use in EX rooms/areas we manufacture/supply the ATEX certified TTU-GLA-050/MP .

 

TTU-GLA-050/MP have a process connection at the connection head, so the scope of application is limited. There is no protective neck to protect the connection head, inverter and connections from low or high temperatures.

If a higher or lower operating range is required, a design with a protective neck or mounting of the sensor such that a maximum of 100 °C is ensured at the connection head or 80 °C if a measuring transducer is integrated in the connection head is recommended .

The sensor’s mounting part shall be dimensionally adapted to the built-in protective sleeve (housing) so that the air pocket between the sensor and the housing is as small as possible (0.5 mm or less).

The use of a temperature conductive medium is recommended if the air pocket is larger than 0.5 mm. For measurements directly in the media, appropriate tube protection must be selected.

For rapid measurements, thinner or narrower tubing is selected. The recommended minimum installation length (depth) is 10 times the outside diameter of the pipe. It can be shorter, but with an impact on the accuracy of the measurement.

 

The pinhole design is chosen for faster measurements of air temperatures (ventilation) and the tapered tip for fast measurements of other media.

The connection head can be equipped with a measuring transducer with analogue or digital output, most commonly 4 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 V, also with HART. It can be mounted in place of the connection base (standard version) or in the cover of the connection head.

All temperature sensors can also be ordered with accredited certification or with verification in the desired range only, and all can be custom-made.

 

Calibration

Temperature sensors can be calibrated after manufacture to provide you with accredited calibration certificate.

All temperature sensors can be made to your specifications and requirements. The most common designs are presented on the website, but in practice, production is mainly made to order.
