TG53 WIKA bimetallic thermometer

Description

The WIKA TG53 bimetallic thermometer has been developed and manufactured in accordance with ASME B40.200. The thermometer ensures high quality and performance and is the ideal choice in the process industry.

The robust hermetically sealed enclosure with standard IP66 (NEMA 4X) ingress protection allows use in harsh outdoor environments. TG53 is specifically designed for use in the chemical, petrochemical, oil, gas, shipbuilding and power industries. It meets strict standards for resistance to aggressive media.

The housing, sensor and process connection are available in 316 stainless steel.

The TG53 allows operation in industrial environments, offering a wide range of vibration damping options. These options include a stuffed case and a wetted bearing to reduce the fluctuation of the pointer.

An easily accessible reset screw on the back of the housing allows quick, limited adjustment of the reference temperature, reducing maintenance and recalibration costs. A choice of sensor lengths is available (L1 mounting length) to optimise its fit and performance according to the application.
