The TTF-1 pressure transmitter with compact design is made of stainless steel. The sensor is chemically applied to the diaphragm. It meets the requirements for high accuracy, minimum tolerances, stability, ease of installation and customised mounting options. It is characterised by its interchangeability, individual design and durability.

Flexible installation
The compact size of the pressure transmitter allows it to be used in applications with limited connection space.

Robust element
The element is made of a single piece of stainless steel. A thin film layer of ‘Wheatstone bridge’ is applied to the diaphragm using a vapour deposition process called‘sputtering‘. This process causes strong molecular bonds to form with the sensor diaphragm itself. Because of the chemical reactions that take place and the strong molecular bonds that form, there is no “sensor creep”. Sensor surface cracking is a common occurrence when the transducer is designed with a film adhesive and an adhesive is used as the application medium to bond the sensor to the diaphragm.

The high level design of the stainless steel sensing element ensures a stainless steel separation between the sensing element and the medium. A fully welded dry load cell does not require internal fluid transmission. The TTF-1 pressure transducer is constructed from Elgiloy and also meets the requirements of demanding specifications.

The sensor element is welded exactly where the pressure input is, the pressure port. This way of constructing the TTF-1 eliminates the use of softer sealing materials that could start to break down or leak over time. Eliminates weak points that sometimes occur in ring and clamp joints, or when joints with adhesive sealants are applied.

Excellent all-round performance
The TTF-1 pressure transmitter provides temperature compensation over a temperature range of -40 °C … +100 °C. In most cases, the use of additional temperature compensation is not necessary.

It offers high safety at prolonged pressure overshoots, and is resistant to individual sudden deviations at higher pressure levels and to dynamic pressure changes. The basic requirements it fulfils, such as the required high accuracy, zero point stability and low temperature variation, result in excellent usability.
