Description

990.45 Pressure interface with WIKA flange (diaphragm separator) is used to protect pressure measuring instruments in difficult media applications. In systems with diaphragm seals, it affects the separation of the instrument and the medium. The pressure is transferred to the measuring instrument via the system filling fluid located inside the diaphragm seal.

For demanding applications, a wide range of designs, materials and system filling fluids are available for pressure interfaces.

The 990.45 WIKA pressure interface with flange is a high temperature version consisting of an upper and a lower diaphragm seal body. The lower part of the diaphragm seal can optionally be designed with flush connections.

These components have been developed specifically for applications with very hot media. The Process Connector is available in standard dimensions for this market.

The mounting of the diaphragm seal on the measuring instrument is usually done via a flexible capillary.
