Description

The IBF2 monobloc stop and vent valve with WIKA flange is designed to, to meet the requirements of the process industry, especially for natural gas and aggressive liquids.

The compact design includes one or two isolation valves separating the process from the instrument side and a vent valve. The modular monobloc design allows the use of ball valves and/or needle valves. For applications with liquid or dirty media, ball valves are recommended due to the ease of cleaning the internal bore.

The design of the valve seat and the redundant valve body seal ensures high durability and tightness. In the event of failure of the soft seat, the hard seat (metal-to-metal) will ensure that the valve can still be operated in a safe position. The connection between the process and the measuring instrument and the atmosphere is sealed.

The efficient machining of the internal parts of the IBF2 shut-off and vent valve allows very smooth and precise operation, even at high pressures, after long periods of inactivity. Surface treatment with aggressive media also reduces corrosion and facilitates cleaning.
