Description

The IBF3 monobloc shut-off and vent valve with flange and threaded connection from WIKA is designed to meet the requirements of the process industry, especially when using natural gas and aggressive liquids.

The compact design includes one or two isolation valves separating the process from the instrument side and a vent valve. The modular monobloc design allows the use of ball valves and/or needle valves. For use with liquid or dirty media, ball valves are recommended due to the ease of cleaning the internal bore.

The seat design and redundant valve body seals ensure high durability and tightness. In the event of failure of the soft seat, the hard seat (metal-to-metal) will ensure that the valve can still be operated in a safe position. The connection between the process and the measuring instrument and the atmosphere is sealed.

The efficient machining of the internal parts of the IBF3 shut-off and vent valve allows very smooth and precise operation, even at high pressures, after long periods of inactivity. Surface treatment with aggressive media also reduces corrosion and facilitates cleaning.
