Description
The SDS/PVDF/S dynamic pressure switch with PVDF JOLA spigot is used for signalling and control of non-aggressive liquids in open or closed vessels or tanks. They are designed to detect the maximum liquid level or to switch pumps and solenoid valves.
These dynamic pressure switches are suitable for maximum level indication, pump activation or solenoid valves.
The connection head contains a diaphragm pressure switch with a switching contact. The switching takes place as the air pressure rises in the air hose as the liquid level rises. After a pressure drop of approx. 45 mm of the water column with SDS/PP type or approx. 50 mm of the water column with SDS/PVDF/S type, the contact is again broken. Differences at higher levels can be controlled by using more SDS. Over time, air escapes through the diaphragm. For this reason, the pipe should be aerated every 6-8 weeks to prevent breakdown.
