Description
OLS-F1 is an optical level switch used for liquid level monitoring in sanitary applications. SThe sensor consists of an infrared LED and a light receiver.
Light from LEDs is udirected into the prism, which forms the tip of the sensor. As long as the tip is not immersed in liquid, the light in the prism is reflected to the receiver.
When the liquid in the container rises and circles the tip, the liquid refracts the light beam, so that the light no longer reaches the receiver or reaches it only weakly, and responds to this change by, to start the switchover process.
OLS-F1 is bil is designed specifically for sanitary applications and is suitable for a wide range of applications. Autoclaving applications can be carried out up to +134 °C.
