Temperature sensors thermocouples (TC), wired - wired thermocouples

Wire thermocouples are made of insulated solid thermocouple wires and are therefore subject to the accuracy class of SIST EN 60584-1 as given in the standard, but only when used within the specified temperature range.
To achieve Class 1 accuracy, they may be used within the insulation range or a maximum range of -25 … +200 °C. Outside this range, the accuracy classes are no longer valid, but use is still possible within the insulation temperature limits.
The wire thermocouples are laser-welded in a controlled environment, so they are not contaminated with other metals or compounds.
They are most commonly used in combination with portable meters, calibrators, dataloggers and similar equipment. They are also popular for use in temperature control of tools, products, furnaces and validation.
