Description

The WIKA WU-25 ultra high purity pressure transducer is a device that detects pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or the fluid.

Reliable
The WU-2x series combines state-of-the-art digital transducer concepts with analogue-like output signals to provide the most reliable and accurate pressure measurements needed for today’s market demands.

Pressure measurement based on a true reference vacuum and electronic measures to protect against interference and eliminate signal noise ensure high pressure measurement accuracy and excellent long-term stability.

Active temperature compensation reduces the impact of changing temperatures on the converter and allows safe operation even in applications with high temperature fluctuations, e.g. The Joule-Thomson effect in the case of gas expansion.

The WU-25 (flow) and WU-26 (surface mount) transducers are specially designed to withstand torsional stresses that often occur during installation. The special design of the thin-film sensor eliminates the risk of sensor failure due to stresses on the process connection or welded joints.

Versatile
The WU-2x can be easily installed in indoor or outdoor systems, as well as in non-flammable or potentially flammable areas. The hermetically sealed design of the WU-2x prevents moisture ingress.

Approvals for non-flammable and potentially flammable environments ensure a high level of product safety. The instruments for temperature class T6 meet the high requirements for low ignition temperature media (phosphine (PH3) and silane (SiH4)).

Compact
With its small footprint, the WU-2x is the most compact UHP converter on the market. This makes it optimally suited for installation in applications with limited installation space, and it can also be easily retrofitted in existing plants.
