Description

The WUC-15 ultra high purity pressure transducer from WIKA is a device that detects pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or the fluid.

Compact
The space-saving design of the WUC-1x provides more free space in plants and installations.

The WUC-15 and 16 series converters are known for their excellent self-discharging characteristics. The special design of the sensor connectors eliminates the impact on the sensor signal due to stresses on process connections or welds.

Versatile
The high ingress protection of IP 67 also allows them to be used in harsh environments on tank installations and special outdoor gas installations.

This series of instruments has also been developed for use in Ex Zone 2. The T6 temperature class classification ensures that even low auto-ignition temperature media such as PH3 (phosphine) are easy to measure.

Reliable
Cyclic pressure purging, high gas attenuation values (Joule-Thompson effect) and external operation can cause fluctuations at high temperatures. Active temperature compensation detects these changes and reduces their impact. This ensures a stable measurement.

The sealed zero-point “side access” setting permanently maintains the high entrance protection of IP 67. Simple operation and protection against unintended settings.

For all wet parts, 316L VIM VAR materials and special thin-film sensors from 2.4711/UNS R30003 are used. Before final assembly, all wetted parts are electropolished and cleaned using state-of-the-art procedures.

Individual inspection of each transducer ensures that the required values for sealing, overpressure resistance, accuracy and particles are achieved in accordance with the applicable SEMI™ standards.
