Description

PG43SA-D diaphragm manometer for sanitary applications WIKA is preferably used for sanitary applications. Through the large working area of the circular, corrugated diaphragm element, pressure ranges can be reliably measured.

The PG43SA-D pressure gauge model has been specifically designed for the highest safety requirements in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Its patented diaphragm element control eliminates the risk of unnoticeable diaphragm rupture by immediately displaying a red warning dot on the dial. If this point on the knob remains white, the pressure element is intact and cost-intensive maintenance of the measuring point is not required.

In the event of a diaphragm fracture, a second barrier in the instrument ensures reliable separation of the environment and the process.

A diaphragm pressure gauge transfers pressure purely mechanically and without a transfer fluid from the process to the pressure element. Due to their thickness, the membrane elements are very robust and have a high safety over pressure, ensuring safe pressure measurement without the risk of contamination.

The compensating welded membrane element, combined with aseptic process connections, allows a dead space-free connection to the process. The independent pressure display, which does not require an external power supply, finds applications in the processing and transport of high quality and critical media, for example on portable tanks.

The PG43SA-D hygienic version can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in washrooms, or it can be completely sterilised in an autoclave. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. The PG43SA-D meets the 3-A sanitary standard and is EHEDG certified.

For GMP-compliant documentation, a number of 3.1 and 2.2 certificates are available, such as a material certificate or a list of individual measured values.
