Description

PG43SA-S diaphragm manometer for sanitary applications WIKA is preferably used for sanitary applications. Through the large working area of the circular, corrugated diaphragm element, pressure ranges can be reliably measured.

The PG43SA pressure gauge model has been specifically designed for the needs of sanitary applications.

Fully mechanical pressure transmission using the diaphragm element principle and high safety over pressure ensure safe pressure measurement. The dry measuring cell eliminates the risk of contamination of the product by the transfer fluid. A compensating welded membrane element in conjunction with aseptic process connections (e.g. clamp, thread, VARIVENT®, BioControl®) allows connection to a dead space-free process.
For example, the instrument can be used in ultra-pure steam generation systems or as an independent pressure display, without the need for an external power supply, on portable tanks.

The PG43SA-S hygienic version can be used for CIP (cleaning in place) and SIP (sterilisation in place) and in washrooms, and can be fully sterilised in an autoclave if desired. The measuring instrument can thus be cleaned reliably and time-efficiently. The zero point can be easily corrected at an easily accessible point on the top of the housing.

Based on third-party verification, the PG43SA-S meets Sanitary Standard 3-A.

For GMP-compliant documentation, a number of 3.1 and 2.2 certificates are available, such as a material certificate or a list of individual measured values.
