Description
The KUR 5 JOLA cooling ceiling controller is designed for installation in a control cabinet, with connection terminals on the front of the housing and an LED warning or alarm light. The KUR 5 relay unit is designed to measure the humidity between the FTS/KO-1 film moisture detector and the switch.
Conductive relay for U- or surface mounting, with connection terminals on top of the housing and red LED for moisture indication.
The unit is designed to be mounted or installed in a switch box in a suitable protective enclosure and can therefore only be mounted/installed in these locations. It is only suitable for use in clean environments.
The KUR 5 control ceiling is designed to measure the moisture between the printed conductors of the FTS/KO-1 film sensor and to switch the built-in output relay when the set sensitivity level is reached, allowing the activation of an external solenoid valve.
The cooling ceiling controller is in a protection circuit design: the potential-free switching contact is in quiescent current – in other words, the relay is energised when the sensor is dry.
