CTH6500 WIKA precision portable thermometer

Description

The CTH6500 precision portable thermometer from WIKA for superior mobile temperature measurement features flexibility and easy handling.

In addition toresistance thermometers, the Pt100 can also process signals from typical thermocouples. This allows temperatures from -200 °C … +1,500 °C to be measured. Model CTH65I0 – Explosion proof (Ex) version is only available for measuring Pt100 resistance thermometers.

With a high accuracy of 0.03 K over the range -100 °C … +150 °C, this instrument can also be used as a reference instrument in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food industries. This also makes the CTH6500 ideal for all service and maintenance tasks.

Low-bias measurement amplifiers ensure small measurement errors, while easy set-up functions greatly simplify set-up and calibration:

• code calibration to quickly set up standard sensors using key data
• physical calibration of the sensor and display at one, two or three different temperatures

This way, measurement errors can be minimised and high display accuracy can be ensured.

Additional areas of application
The instrument was designed primarily to measure temperature, although it can also be used with the appropriate probes to:

• humidity measurement with a combined temperature/humidity sensor
• flow measurement from 0.1 … 40 m/s with vane sensor
