Description

The WIKA CTH7000 portable thermometer is used as a reference instrument for testing, regulation and calibration of temperature measuring instruments.

The CTH7000 portable thermometer is a high performance dual channel thermometer for Pt100sensors and thermistors. The portable thermometer is a step forward in battery-powered measurement accuracy.
It can meet all needs with the accuracy and resolution usually found in bench-top thermometers. Two inputs provide direct temperatures from Pt100 or thermistor sensors, or show the temperature difference between them. You can record measurements directly to the memory or use the spend input USB for control and b data transfer to a computer.
The temperature gauge displays a statistical analysis of the measurements with the mean value, minimum and maximum values and standard deviation.

As the CTH7000 displays both resistance and temperature, it can also be used to calibrate one sensor with the other. Most instruments require calibrated sensor data to be entered into memory to optimise measurement accuracy, which can mean a lot of data entry if sensors are changed regularly.

With ASL’s SMART connector, you only need to store data on the sensors once – in the connector! The calibration data is permanently stored in the sensor. You can also use the sensor on another CTH7000 model without further delay. The SMART connector saves time and reduces errors. If you have existing calibrated or uncalibrated sensors, no problem, as the CTH7000 automatically records whether the sensor is SMART or normal.
