Description

The CTD4000 temperature dry-well calibrator from WIKA is used for quick and easy testing and calibration of temperature measuring devices.

These innovative calibrators have been designed for on-site (ON SITE) and harsh environments in the naval and maritime sectors.
Their ease of use and compact, practical design make them unbeatable in industrial processes. In these processes, the calibration of temperature measurement systems is essential for process control and final product quality. By using an aluminium body and aluminium and stainless steel for many internal parts, special attention has been paid to reducing weight and size and increasing robustness.

Each calibrator is tested in the laboratory and calibrated with references according to an international standard. At this stage, all functions are checked against the reference parameters and a calibration protocol is issued. The thermal part of these calibrators consists of a metal block heated by resistors or Peltier thermoelectric modules. The metal block has a single opening into which a replaceable insert is inserted. With standard cartridges available, the calibrators are versatile and can be easily adapted to calibrate temperature sensors with the most common diameters.

The CTD4000 family of dry-well temperature calibrators includes three different models, CTD4000-140, CTD4000-375, CTD4000-650, which differ mainly in temperature range.
