Description

The WIKA CTB9100 micro calibration bath is used for calibrations in the pharmaceutical and food industries.

The new microcalibration baths are the perfect complement to the CTD9100 and CTD9300 series dry tube temperature calibrators.
Short sensors in dry-well temperature calibrators significantly increase the measurement uncertainty due to the small insertion depth and the resulting errors in thermal conductivity. Also, when comparing the test items with an external reference thermometer, they must not be too short. When the stem length drops below 70 mm, a microcalibration bath is definitely preferable to a dry-well temperature calibrator.

If several sensors need to be calibrated at the same time, the micropile has additional advantages: thermometers with different stem diameters can be calibrated together without the need to provide precise inputs.
This approach is particularly useful for ON SITE calibration when there are many different test items and their stem diameters are different or unknown.

For temperature ranges from -35 °C … +255 °C
The CTB9100 micro-calibration baths are available in two versions:

CTB9100-165 for -35 °C … +165 °C

This microcalibration bath is an effective tool for calibrating thermometers. It works with Peltier elements and can thus reach temperatures below ambient.
The new multi-stage Peltier elements ensure good long-term stability and high reliability over the entire operating range. Its active cooling capability makes it widely used in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food industries.

CTB9100-225 for +40 °C … +225 °C; optionally 255 °C

CTB9100-225 is used in the medium temperature range up to 255 °C. It generates its own temperature by electric resistance heating. For cooling, the fan runs at its highest setting. This allows cooling from 255 °C to 50 °C in just 30 minutes. In addition to its short heating and cooling times, this bath is also characterised by its light weight and compact design. It can be used in a wide range of industries.

Easy to use
The CTB9100 series of microcalibration baths operate with temperature-controlled liquid reservoirs with a usable working area of Ø 60 x 150 mm. The maximum insertion depth of the test elements reduces the errors in thermal conductivity and thus leads to lower measurement uncertainties.
The calibration temperature, which can be set simply by pressing two buttons on the controller, can be controlled very quickly. The actual and set temperature can be displayed simultaneously on a large 4-digit high-contrast LC display. This virtually eliminates reading errors.
