Description

The CPB5000 pneumatic pressure equaliser from WIKA is the most accurate instrument on the market for calibrating electronic or mechanical pressure measuring instruments.

Direct pressure measurement (p = F/A) and uthe use of high quality materials allows for very low measurement uncertainty and excellent long-term stability. Pneumatic pressure equaliser has therefore been used for years used in factory and calibration laboratories in industry, national institutes and research laboratories.

Independent operation
The CPB5000 is ideal for ON SITE use in maintenance and servicing applications due to its integrated pressure generation and purely mechanical measuring principle.

Basic principle
Pressure is defined as the quotient of force and area. The central component of the pneumatic pressure equaliser is therefore a very precisely engineered piston-cylinder system. A mass load is applied to it to create individual test points.
Mass loading is proportional to the target pressure and this is achieved by optimally graduated masses. These masses are built to standard gravity (9.80665 m/s²) as standard, although they can be customised to a specific location and also calibrated to DKD/DAkkS.
