CPB5000HP WIKA high pressure equaliser

Description

The CPB5000HP high pressure equaliser from WIKA is used as the primary standard for calibrations of pressure devices.

Proven primary standard
CPB5000HP High Pressure Equalizers (dead weight testers) are the most accurate instruments on the market for calibration of electronic or mechanical pressure measuring instruments. The direct measurement of pressure (p = F/A) and the use of high quality materials allow very low measurement uncertainty and excellent long-term stability.
It has been used for years in factory and calibration laboratories in industry, national institutes and research laboratories.

Independent operation
The CPB5000HP is ideal for ON SITE use in maintenance and servicing applications due to its integrated pressure generation and purely mechanical measuring principle.

Basic principle
Pressure is defined as the quotient of force and area. The central component of the CPB5000HP is therefore a very precisely engineered piston-cylinder system, which is loaded with masses to generate individual test points.
The masses used are proportional to the target pressure, which is achieved by optimally dosed masses. These masses are built to standard gravity (9.80665 m/s²) as standard, but can be customised to a specific location and calibrated (calibrated) to DKD/DAkkS.
