RTD temperature sensors, clamp-on

Clamp-on surface temperature sensors measure the temperature on the surfaces of pipes, tools, spray nozzles. They are manufactured in a wide range of temperatures, materials and designs. On a strap, on a clamp, parallel to the pipe, vertical to the pipe, 45° to the pipe, different lengths and insulation of connecting cables. We advise tight fitting, the use of temperature-conducting traps and good insulation if on pipes. They are a useful and simple solution for monitoring inlets and outlets in heating systems and for controlling the first injection nozzle on extruders or plastic injection moulders. Comparing a resistive design with a thermocouple – same sensor design – the thermocouple is faster.
