Description

The UT-ONE S04B is a precise and versatile 4-channel desktop thermometer designed for accurate temperature readings. Its ability to measure platinum resistance thermometers, thermistors and thermocouples provides versatility in a wide range of applications.

It is used for calibrations, mainly for validations and homogeneity measurements (annealing furnaces, vacuum annealing furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, autoclaves, laboratory ovens, tunnel ovens) of furnaces, according to CQI-9 and AMS 2750F.

One of the key features of the UT-ONE S04B is its large internal memory, which can store measured data for at least 30 days of continuous acquisition. This allows users to record and analyse data for later use or reporting.

The resistive probes (TTUs) can be measured in different connection configurations, including 4-wire, 3-wire and 2-wire. User-friendly banana connectors allow easy use with banana plugs, bare wires or spatulas, making it easy to connect sensors.

The UT-ONE S04B can be connected to a PC via a standard USB interface or an optional RS232 interface. Using the UT-ONE Applications software, users can easily manage and retrieve data from the thermometer.

The thermometer is powered via a USB cable, which makes it easy to use without the need for an additional power supply.

Who is UT-ONE S04B suitable for?

  • Laboratories: provides accurate temperature measurement, which is crucial for various laboratory procedures and experiments.
  • Industrial environments: enables temperature monitoring in industrial processes, which is essential to ensure product quality and efficient operation.
  • Research activities: suitable for researchers who need reliable and accurate temperature data for their research and experiments.
  • Technical users: useful for technical professionals, engineers and other users who require accurate temperature measurement in their work and need reliable results.

Probe environmental conditions

The probe is used to measure ambient conditions (air temperature – TA and relative humidity – RH). It connects to the 4-pole round connector located above the USB and RS232 sockets, directly or indirectly with a 2 m extension cable.

Software

Software
UT-ONE Applications
is a suite of applications based on the LabVIEW platform for communication between the PC and the UT-ONE thermometer readout.

The biggest advantage of these meters is the input of correction factors and polynomials of temperature sensors and thermocouples, which allows to achieve minimal corrections of the temperature display.

The purpose of the UT-ONE application software is to provide a convenient general-purpose interface to the UT-ONE functionality from a computer screen.

The UT ONE applications also demonstrate the reading capabilities of the UT-ONE thermometer and can be used as a starting point for the development of user applications covering a specific measurement solution.

The UT-ONE apps can be downloaded free of charge from the website and do not require additional licences. LabVIEW drivers are also available free of charge. LabVIEW source code for selected applications and drivers is available on request from a qualified customer.

All equipment is supplied complete with thermocouples or resistive sensors, with an accredited temperature calibration certificate.
