Description

The UT-ONE B03B precision and versatile 3-channel benchtop thermometer from BATEMIKA is designed for reliable temperature readings and allows the measurement of platinum resistance thermometers, thermistors and thermocouples.

It is used for calibrations, mainly for validations and homogeneity measurements (annealing furnaces, vacuum annealing furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, autoclaves, laboratory ovens, tunnel ovens) of furnaces, according to CQI-9 and AMS 2750F.

One of the outstanding features of the UT-ONE B03B is its large internal memory, which stores measured data for at least 30 days of continuous acquisition. This is extremely convenient for monitoring and analysing long-term temperature trends.

The thermometer measures resistance probes (TTUs and thermistors) in a variety of connection configurations, including 4-wire (default), 3-wire or 2-wire. User-friendly banana-type connectors offer ease of use with banana plugs, bare wires or spatulas.

The UT-ONE B03B is equipped with an additional probe for ambient conditions, which measures air temperature and relative humidity. With this thermometer, you can also monitor and record weather conditions.

The thermometer is equipped with a colour touchscreen that displays the measured data in graphical and numerical form. Temperature can be displayed in Celsius (°C), Kelvin (K) or Fahrenheit (°F), offering the flexibility to display it according to your needs.

The UT-ONE B03B can be operated in stand-alone mode or connected to a PC via RS232 or USB using the UT-ONE Applications software. It can be powered by an internal Li-ion battery that provides up to eight hours of autonomous operation, allowing mobile use and flexibility.

Graphical user interface

UT-ONE B03B has a touchscreen user interface. The structure of the user interface consists of a set of windows organised in two tabs labelled ‘MEASURE’ and ‘CONFIGURE’.

Tabbed pages can be selected using the page selector located on the right side of the LCD screen. Each tabbed page has several windows that can be accessed sequentially by pressing the page selector repeatedly. The horizontal menu buttons contain different menu commands that dynamically adapt to the current operation.

Software

Software
UT-ONE Applications
is a suite of applications based on the LabVIEW platform for communication between the PC and the UT-ONE thermometer readout.

The biggest advantage of these meters is the input of correction factors and polynomials of temperature sensors and thermocouples, which allows to achieve minimal corrections of the temperature display.

The purpose of the UT-ONE application software is to provide a convenient general-purpose interface to the UT-ONE functionality from a computer screen.

The UT ONE applications also demonstrate the reading capabilities of the UT-ONE thermometer and can be used as a starting point for the development of user applications covering a specific measurement solution.

The UT-ONE apps can be downloaded free of charge from the website and do not require additional licences. LabVIEW drivers are also available free of charge. LabVIEW source code for selected applications and drivers is available on request from a qualified customer.

 

All equipment is supplied complete with thermocouples or resistive sensors, with an accredited temperature calibration certificate.
