Description
The TS/O/hanging switch on the JOLA vertical tube is designed for signalling the level of liquids. These units are not suitable for use in turbulent liquids (e.g. in mixing tanks).
Function description based on the TS/O/ switching example:
Automatic tank filling
The lower floating switch drops with the liquid to the lowest level and acts on the contactor coil winding when it drops below the horizontal liquid level. The liquid is then pumped into the reservoir. When the maximum liquid level is reached, the upper float switch rises above the horizontal, the contactor circuit is interrupted and the filling process stops.
