Description
The WIKA TIF50, TIF52 field temperature transmitters consist of a robust field housing, a model T32 temperature transmitter and a model DIH display. They are designed for general process engineering applications. They offer high precision, galvanic isolation and excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
WIKA TIF50, TIF52 field temperature transmitters are configurable (interoperable) via HART® protocol with various open configuration tools. In addition to different types of sensors, e.g. sensors according to DIN EN 60751, JIS C1606, DIN 43760, IEC 60584 or DIN 43710, user-specific sensor characteristics can be defined by entering pairs of values (user-defined linearisation).
A redundant sensor configuration (dual sensor) ensures that if a sensor fails, it automatically switches to the working sensor. In addition, there is a function to activate the sensor’s “drift” (creep) detection. This is done by an error occurring when the magnitude of the temperature difference between sensor 1 and sensor 2 exceeds a value selected by the user.
The field temperature transmitter also has additional sophisticated monitoring functions such as sensor wire resistance monitoring and sensor break detection according to NAMUR NE89 and monitoring of the measuring range. In addition, this converter has a comprehensive cycling self-monitoring function. The display can show the range alarms as well as the MIN and MAX values.
They are available in different housing versions. You can specify plastic, stainless steel and aluminium. It can be mounted directly on the wall. There is also an optional mounting kit for pipes with a diameter of 1 … 2″.
Temperature transmitters are supplied with a basic configuration or configured according to customer specifications.
