Description

The professional wood-burning stove thermometer type: 2240 1940/1000/2000, as a complete set of temperature sensor and digital display, serves professional use when it is necessary to monitor the temperature of a large wood-burning stove. The advantage of the kit lies mainly in the temperature sensor up to 1100 °C. Conventional thermometers do not cover such a high temperature range, and it is quite common for the temperature in a wood-burning stove to develop briefly to 600 °C or more. The length of the sensor, the connecting cable and the display can be chosen, and this kit is ready to be used as often as needed.

 

The length of the sensor depends on where it is placed, but it is important to remember that the sensor measures at the tip. The sensor is mounted where you want to measure the temperature, and the length and design are usually adjusted accordingly. Installation lengths of 1000 mm are common for door installations.

The thermometer consists of a SHINKO type BCS2 digital temperature display and an ELPRO sheathed thermocouple with compensation cable:

• the digital display is mounted in a PVC overhead housing connected to a l = 2 m power cable and a shunt plug
• 240 V AC or 24 V AC/DC power supply (to be defined at time of order)
• the thermocouple is 6 mm diameter, length l = 1000 mm, with 2 m of compensation cable fixedly connected
• sensor measuring range 0 … 1100 °C, at cable connection Tmax: 400 °C
