Description

SM/V130/E/PN pneumatic EX floating ball switch JOLA, when the liquid level in a tank or tank tank rises or falls, the built-in micro-switch is subsequently released or closed. Not suitable for mixing boilers or tanks. It is most commonly used in systems where the level of a liquid medium in a vessel or room needs to be monitored in a simple way.
Designed for installation in explosion hazardous areas, or when working with flammable media.

Mode of operation

Rising or falling fluid levels cause the float to move slightly up or down. When the float is lifted, it activates the pneumatic 3/2-way valve.

A special prerequisite for the safe use of floating switches

The thickness of the bottom of the floating switch is only 0.2 mm. The floating switch should therefore only be installed in a non-corrosive environment to allow separation of zones. For the same reason, precautions must be taken before or during the installation of the float switch to effectively protect the float switch from mechanical damage that may be caused, for example, by turbulence or heavy waves of fluid motion that need to be monitored.
