Description

The S-10 pressure transducer for general industrial use from WIKA is a device that detects pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or fluid.

WIKA S-10 pressure transmitters are precision engineered to suit most industrial pressure measurement applications. The compact, robust design makes these instruments suitable for applications including hydraulics and pneumatics, vacuum, test equipment, fluid level measurement, press control, compressor control, pump protection and many other processing and control applications. A wide range of electrical and procedural connection options are available to meet almost any requirement.

Robust construction
The S-10 has a fully welded stainless steel measuring cell for improved media compatibility. There are no internal soft sealing materials that could react with the media or deteriorate over time. The compact housing is also made of stainless steel and is available with environmental protection ratings up to NEMA 6P/IP 68.

Each instrument undergoes extensive quality checks and calibration to achieve an accuracy of < 0.25% of full scale. The printed circuit boards use state-of-the-art surface mount technology and are encased in a silicone gel to protect against mechanical shock, vibration and moisture. Each is specially tuned for temperature compensation to ensure accuracy and long-term stability, even when subjected to wide fluctuations in ambient temperature.
