Description

The PyroMini OEM CALEX infrared (IR) temperature sensor with miniature sensor head, which can withstand ambient temperatures up to 120 °C, is ideal for installation in small and confined spaces with its rectangular cable entry. The sensor can be mounted in a 16 mm hole with the supplied mounting nut, and additional mounting brackets are available.

Examples of PyroMini use

Food industry

The unobtrusive design of the PyroMini OEM means that this temperature sensor can be mounted on food production machines, taking up the least space and can be used without product contamination. All thanks to the compact 55 mm non-contact sensor head.

 

Plastics industry

In the plastics industry, thermoforming machines heat plastic films to make them malleable. If the plastic is thicker than about a millimetre, it can be easily measured with a general purpose sensor.

 

Wood processing

The temperature of the wood can be measured in processes such as sawing, sanding and planing, which helps to mark worn cutting surfaces.

 

Textile industry

Sensors are often successfully used in textile measurement. Industries such as the textile industry use temperature sensors on their production machines to monitor the temperatures of the fabrics as well as the equipment itself, such as coated rollers. Steel rollers can be measured using OEM PyroMini if the strip is painted.

 

In small indoor spaces

The small sensor head with rectangular cable entry allows PyroMini OEM to be discreetly installed in most rooms. The sensor can be mounted in a 16 mm hole with the supplied mounting nut, and additional mounting brackets are available.
