CALEX

Description

PyroEpsilon is a simple infrared temperature sensor with adjustable emission power. Ideally, the target should be partially reflective. Easy to use and indispensable for checking the temperature of various media, surfaces in production or general use. It is most commonly used in the food industry to measure the temperature of equipment, in the paper industry, in the electrical industry, to measure the outer layer of heaters, tanks and pipes.

The emissivity setting is adjustable via a 2-wire 4 … 20 mA input and can be continuously adjusted by a variable 4 … 20 mA source. For manual adjustment of emissivity, the PyroTune emission controller is available (optional). The sensor is also compatible with PLC outputs or controllers that can provide a 4 … 20 mA signal. If no 4 … 20 mA input is available, the emissivity setting is reset to 0.95 so that the sensor will only be suitable for measuring non-reflective non-metallic materials or painted metal.
