PSD Compressed Air Dryer Michell

Description

The Michell PSD compressed air dryer produces a source of very dry compressed air. It is designed to work in the long term. It has an inlet and outlet pressure regulator. The ”Swing” dryers, which are an integral part of the PSD dryer, provide a source of very dry compressed air under pressure. It is suitable for use in humidity calibration systems or for general laboratory use.

The Michell PSD compressed air desiccant dryer uses two columns filled with 4A molecular desiccant, which are used alternately in a two-minute switching cycle. PSD pressure dryers are designed for continuous operation, with a small proportion of dried air for column regeneration, offline – generally allowing drying for more than five years. This type of unheated regeneration consumes significantly less energy than the ”heated” type of dryer.

The PSD series offers two models, depending on the variation of gas flow; PSD2 and PSD4, the specifications of which can be found in the attached documentation. The PSD4 series pressure drier contains stainless steel internal components.
