E-11 pressure transducer for use in EX environment WIKA

Description

The E-11 pressure transducer for use in the WIKA EX environment is a device that detects pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or fluid.

The E-10 and E-11 flameproof pressure transmitters have been designed specifically for the high demands of industrial oil and gas applications.

These pressure transducers can be supplied with a variety of analogue signals from 4 … 20 mA to a low-power version with a DC current of 1 … 5 V. They are characterised by their extremely high resistance to vibrations, pressure shocks and moisture ingress. In addition, these pressure transmitters meet IP 67 (NEMA 4x) ingress protection.

A full quality control and calibration shall be performed on each individual instrument to ensure an accuracy of ≤ 0.5 %. Temperature compensation ensures accuracy and long-term stability, even in the face of strong fluctuations in ambient temperature.

Models E-10 and E-11 are suitable for use with acid gases and have a particularly high resistance to sulphide stress cracking in contact with sulphur gases.

Pressure transmitters are approved as “explosion-proof” for Class I, II, III, Div. 1 hazardous areas for FM and CSA and “fireproof” for II 2 G Ex d II C to ATEX.
