DPS40 differential pressure DELTA switch WIKA

Description

The DPS40 differential pressure DELTA switch from WIKA is used to control differential pressures, the instrument allows switching and display.

The differential pressure gauges of the DELTA product family are mainly used for monitoring and controlling low differential pressures where there are high requirements for unilateral overload and static pressure.
Typical markets for these products are heating technology, the HVAC industry, the water/wastewater industry and machine and plant construction. The main task of the instrumentation is to monitor and control filters, compressors and pumps.

Where circuits need to be switched safely depending on a specific differential pressure, the DELTA switch is used. When the pressure goes above or below the set value, a switch operation is triggered.

The switching point is accessible from the front and can be set within a range of 10 … 100% of the final value of the measuring range by means of an auxiliary scale.

The robust instrument with a tamper-evident window achieves high durability even under harsh environmental conditions. This ensures that the instrument is not compromised and is resistant to external mechanical influences.

Depending on the requirement and application, the measuring chamber can be made of aluminium or stainless steel. The stainless steel measuring chamber is also suitable for gaseous media due to its increased stability.
