WOEHLER

Description

The Wöhler DP 600 leak tester monitors the leak tightness of all exhaust systems listed in EN 1443 by measuring the air flow required to maintain the test pressure level.

TESTING TESTING ALL CLASSES DIMENSIONS AND SYSTEMS FOR DRAIN DIMENSIONS GAS

The Wöhler DP 600 checks the tightness of exhaust ducts and chimneys. In the meter menu the user can choose between different types of installation.

Automatically regulates the pressure required for flue gas systems of the type:

  • P1 (drainage channels)
  • H1 (combined heat (co-generation, cogeneration) and power plants, high-pressure flues )
  • N1 and N2(chimneys)

and automatically determines leakage rates.

A variable mode is also available, which allows the user to select the test pressure and leak/leak rate. In this way, it is possible to implement Tests leak tests of ventilation of ventilation systems or flue gas extractionsystems of type P2 or H2.

All results can be printed with a high-speed thermal printer.

CONFIRMATION OF SUFFICIENT COMBUSTION AIR SUPPLY

The device allows confirm sufficient supply of combustion of combustion air v according to z DVGW 625 (“a simple procedureanddetailed procedure) with the necessary differential pressure test( 4 Patest ). No auxiliary measuring instrument is required.

The Wöhler DP 600 simulates the combustion air inlet of a fireplace. When the user enters the capacity of the fireplace, the Wöhler DP 600 will automatically produce adequate volume flow, which is through the chimney, and noted the increase in pressure in the room.

Interesting fact

TESTING PRESS SYSTEMS EXCEPT GAS SYSTEMS

Heating systems, using low-temperature or condensing technology, cause less and less exhaust gas loss. The reduction in exhaust gas losses is linked to a reduction in exhaust gas temperature. Low flue gas temperatures can mean, the flue gases no longer have enough energy to escape outwards through the chimney or flue pipe.

To ensure the heating system works properly, exhaust gases must be extracted using blowers or fans. This causes excess pressure in the exhaust system. Any leaks in the exhaust pipes would cause toxic flue gases to escape into the indoor air. It is therefore advisable to carry out an exhaust system leak test.
