  • Permitted medium: vapours present or evolved during operation and classified in Group IIC with a nominal tolerance ≥0.29 mm
  • Prohibited use when working with explosive gases, vapours, fumes and other air mixtures which are flammable or chemically unstable.

    • stainless steel or special materials used on the welded parts of the pressure gauge (Money, Hastelloy)
    • or a variant where the 910.21 does not have an oxidation coating to prevent contact between the surfaces of the elements

Description

Model 910.21 is a pre-volumetric deflagration flame arrestor. Allows the installation of measuring instruments and orifice seal systems in areas with EPL Ga (Zone 0) requirements.

The 910.21 is professionally connected to the measuring instrument in the factory (integrated in the pressure gauge or in the screen seal system). Together, they form a measurement set.

A pre-volumetric deflagration flame arrestor allows the flow of liquids. In the event of a failure, it prevents the transfer of flames from the unprotected side of the instrument to the side where the processing is taking place (the protected side).

 

To simplify the documentation of explosion protection in your company, the layout of the zone separation is marked on the instrument cluster.

A flame arrestor for pre-volume deflagration is built into the Ex-turn. It is available for pressure gauges and for diaphragm seal systems with measuring instruments that are “Ex” approved.

Model 910.21 complies with the EN ISO 16852 standard for flame arresters.

ATEX and IECEx approvals meet European and international safety requirements for explosion protection.
