ELPRO Lepenik today and 30 years ago
1. 6. 1991exactly 30 years ago, Zoran Lepenik founded ELPRO Zoran Lepenik s.p. At the very beginning, he mainly carried out field repairs of industrial electronics and instrumentation technology. As soon as he rented his first space, he started making temperature sensors. In 1994 , Alexandra joined him, then still a student at the technical faculty. With youthful enthusiasm, they worked hard and expanded their circle of clients. They started recruiting and developing their product programme, travelling and learning a lot. They have made important business connections and established strong partnerships with foreign partners, which continue to complement our own temperature sensor product range today. In 1997 , they transformed the company into ELPRO Lepenik & Co. d.n.o.
Good 5 years later the company moved to new premises in Rogoza, where we are still building our success story today. During this time, the company has transformed from a micro to a small company and has become ELPRO Lepenik & Co. d.o.o., where we produce temperature sensors of the highest quality and are one of the leading suppliers of measurement and control technology in Slovenia.
The company has been manufacturing temperature sensors and servicing industrial electronics for 30 years and has had a temperature calibration laboratory since 1995. One of the major milestones was in 2010, when our ELPRO Calibration Laboratory was accredited by the Slovenian Accreditation Service, according to the SIST EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
In 2016, we built a new building where our temperature sensor production works to the highest standards.
In 2018, 2019 and 2020, we have been awarded AAA in the following years AAA gold rating of excellence rating, which demonstrates our reliable and credible business performance.
In 2021, we earned AAA Platinum rating of excellencewhich can be viewed here. It proves that our way of doing business and our example enrich the Slovenian business environment, as we are among the 1.5% of the most successful, honest and reliable companies in Slovenia.
On this day , we are grateful for all our colleagues, for our excellent professional and well-established team, where we all share the same goals and are forward-looking and customer-oriented. The next generation, who will take over in 10 years’ time, has already started the roll-out. But the most important thing is satisfied clients and users, and it is to them that we dedicate every second of our work, including by first training and improving ourselves.

The official celebration took place on Friday 4. 6. 2021, representatives of our local community of Hoče-Slivnica will attend. On this occasion, we received sincere congratulations and praise from our firefighters, representatives of the kindergarten and the Red Cross, representatives of the municipality, the mayor and others who contribute significantly to the well-being of the community through their work. With a delicious feast, a big cake and an inspiring programme, we celebrated the day the way it should be celebrated. We are proud to be part of such a hard-working municipality and to be able to make a visible contribution to society through our actions.
