MIL-STD-461F
MIL-STD-461F is a US military standard. Specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for devices and systems.
The standard specifies provisions for the control of electromagnetic interference of subsystems and equipment. Itspecifies the requirements for monitoring electromagnetic interference emissions (EMI) and electronic sensitivity, electrical and electromechanical equipment and subsystems. Such equipment and subsystems may be used inare used independently or as part of other subsystems or systems.
MIL-STD-461F
is preferred for products having the following characteristics:
electronic enclosures, electrical connections and power supply from primary energy sources.
Standard must not be directly uto spend on the elements, such as modules in electronic enclosures or complete platforms. Principles in this standard can be useful as a basis for developing uthe appropriate requirements for these applications. Requirements for data items are also included.
