TR20 resistance thermometer, with NEUMO BioControl® process connector

Description

The TR20 resistance thermometer with NEUMO BioControl® process connection is used for temperature measurement in sanitary applications. It features the NEUMO BioControl® pharmaceutical system connector, making it particularly suitable for applications where Thermowell cannot be used. For increased hygiene requirements for those elements in contact with the environment, a stainless steel head is available in a hygiene-optimised version.

The TR20 resistance thermometer with NEUMO BioControl® process connection in combination with the locking flange (low-profile version) is particularly suitable for measuring the temperature in paddle mixing vessels. The result is a flush-mounted instrumentation on the wall of the container. This allows easy removal of the process media from the inner wall by means of rotating paddles/wipers. The result is a good homogeneous mixture of components and at the same time an accurate temperature measurement in the mixing vessel.

Cable output with M12 thread

Instead of the standard cable gland, the cable output of the connection head can be optionally designed with an M12 thread (4-pin). This gives it the highest hygienic ingress protection of IP65.
Single strand connection is not required for operation as
you can use pre-assembled cables.

Connecting head with digital indicator

As an alternative to the standard connection head, the TR20 thermometer can be equipped with an optional digital indicator
DIH10
. The connection head used for this is similar to that of the BSZ-H. Operation requires a 4 … 20 mA converter mounted on the measuring insert. The indication range is set to be the same as the measurement range of the transducer of the inverter.

Additional embodiments

The resistance thermometer is available as a digital or analogue thermometer in several possible versions (T15, T32, T53, T91.10). These differ depending on the installation or implementation (HART, PC)
